Geisha Electronica @ The Bathhouse
7- 8 Bishopsgate Churchyard London EC2M 3TJ
Friday 27th August

Lottie, Suze Rosser, Kath Harding, Natalie Coleman, Sophie Lloyd

11pm - 4am

£5 before 12 / £7 after
£5 concessions guest list

Geisha this month holds it's party at a new found amazing underground hidden club, The Bathhouse.
Nestled in the shadows of the City, The Bathhouse sits within Bishopsgate Churchyard, a surviving treasure from Victorian East London. Harking back to the near-forgotten days of inequity and indulgence, Stepping into the 19th century Kiosk with it’s deceptively small exterior is like entering another era all together. The Bathhouse is an undiscovered beauty only seconds away from Liverpool St Station.  It is an experience that is not to be missed!

Ladies to join the Geisha residents Lottie, Suze Rosser and Sophie Lloyd this time, are arguably two of London's most committed and talented DJ's and promoters, Kath Harding of Wish and Natalie Coleman of Mooch.

Kath Harding has a unique intuitive dj style and an ability to read and surprise any crowd. Her style is a brave collage of trend-led techno, groovy minimal and silky undertones of early house. She has played alongside Chloé, Jennifer Cardini, Fra Soler, Raymundo Rodriguez, Mlle Caro, Tim Sheridan, Reset Robot, Rebekah, Kate Lawler, Mistress De Funk, Nicole Moudaber amongst others. Kath has also taken her sound to some of London's finest including Jaded, Fabric, Egg, Mooch and more recently blowing the roof off Nouveau Casino at WISH's debut in Paris.

Over the past year or so Natalie Coleman has been on the flyer of almost every London party worth its salt. Nat’s technical prowess and ability to work a crowd has taken her to some of London's elite venues including T-Bar, Koko, Public life, Cable, Horse & Groom, Cargo, Herbal, The Lightbox, Corisca Studios. Residency at Terry Hart’s Redlight Afterhours has given her a platform on which to build a reputation for consistently delivering the goods. Adding to this with a slot at Booka Shade's Album Launch, Jaded and regular appearances for Genius, HouseFM and other London underground parties, she has cemented her place as one of London’s rapidly rising stars.

Expect an amazing array of music which will take you on a journey from slow driven cool hot disco beats to twisted funk driven techno, as a host of up and coming and established successful female talent step into the Giant Golden Birdcage DJ Booth.....

We invite you to step onto the floor of the dancers

Geisha is the chic-to-chic new party showcasing female artists. DJs Lottie and rising talent Suze Rosser are the force behind the new bi-monthly Friday, designed to showcase the best new talent alongside already established female DJs from around the world... And there are many!

Lottie needs little in the way of introduction; she has graced the cover of magazines I-DJ, DMC Update, Time Out, Jockey Slut, Muzik and more. Has presented on BBC's Radio 1, including hosting the world-renowned Friday Night Essential Selection show for Pete Tong. And for the past decade has DJd at every main club and event worldwide - including Glastonbury, Space (Ibiza), Tenax in Florence, The Loft in Barcelona, Fabric and Matter in London and many more.

Lottie and Suze will control the East Village basement, keeping it more electronic in the dark. Whilst looking after Geisha upstairs in the Lounge will be Geisha Resident Sophie Lloyd - a Disco-Belle on the East London scene, regularly playing for Serge Santiago’s Arcobaleno nights, Dalston Superstore and many more. Sophie will be supported by Naomi Williams, of Girlcore fame, with both playing everything from Pop to Hip Hop to Disco to 80's.

Let's Dance...

The next date at East Village will be Friday August 6th, news to come on Geisha Ibiza and Brighton.
