Haha!  I love the bit when the interviewer says...

"I've heard that you've taken the CDJ-1000 to places it should never have been?" and JZ replies with "Yeah I've taken it to bed, taken it to the park, wherever it wants to go - it depends what mood its in and what mood I'm in" and the interviewer just carries on without noticing any sarcasm!

That sounds cool mate... I'm really into that dark trippy stuff too.  This mix might not show that too much  but I dig the whole Radio Slave, Bastian Goetz and Chordian kind of sound.  You'll have to get it posted on here once its done.

Label wise I've got quite a variety of stuff signed to it.  Not all of it represents the kind of music I play in my sets because I wanted to try and get a good selection of different producers on there from a variety of genres to keep it fresh and innovative.  You might like the Tappto Grande and Matthew T.Hinton releases on Cascabel, particulary the tracks Recording 8 and Windtunnel.  Check them out on the website and let me know what you think of them.

I've also got a couple of other artists signed who's tracks are being released later on in the year that might suit your style.  If you go to www.myspace.com/cascabelrecords and look at the top friends you will see Puikegast and m0dular matt.  They both make dark druggy techno that you might like.

Thanks for the positive comments mate, I'm glad you enjoyed it and I really appreciate the feedback!  smile

I'll be sure to let you know when I've recorded another.

Here is the tracklisting if you're interested:

Its got to be one in my opinion, they are all class in their own ways but the first one has set the bar very high!

By the way does anyone know the difference between the final track on Transitions 1 (Paul Kalkbrenner - Gerbrunn Gerbrunn) and Sasha's Live at Avalon CD (Paul Kalkbrenner - Tatu Tata)?  Apart from Gerbrunn Gerbrunn being slightly shorter I can't notice any real difference.

Downloading this now, I'm a big fan of Lawler... its been too long since I last saw him play at The End.

Hey Bedrock peeps!
