Boddika has given us a copy of his latest vinyl LP 'Think & Change' which recently came out on the Nonplus imprint to give away.

And he has let us in on something; "Each release is numbered, so I'll give away number 909, which is pretty cool!” The man has given us number 909! As the Roland 909 drum machine features on much of the material on the LP it's a nice touch.

We Fear Silence present Phaeleh, Lil Silva, Girl Unit & more

Saturday 13th April 2013 / Cable, London / 22.00-06.00

Phaeleh, Girl Unit, Lil Silva, Deadboy, Scratcha DVA, Redinho + more TBA

In recent years, Matt Preston aka Phaeleh, has become a near unavoidable face at the forefront of crisp production, shifting tempos that cross the lines between dubstep, garage and ambient. It’s cinematic electronic music for the 21st century. Having been in high demand, after winning support from the likes of BBC Radio 1, Kiss and Rinse FM, its Matt’s fresh outlook and penchant for new sounds that makes him a force we think worthy of headlining.

On the 13th April, he takes all this force down to the tunnels of Cable to headline a line-up of some of the biggest names in dance music. Lil Silva, Bradford boy, and bedroom producer turned songwriter, is ready to take things to another level. After remix work for the likes of SBTRKT, AlunaGeorge, and Lana Del Ray, he’s quickly built rep as a consummate of the experimental.

Night Slugs finest, Girl Unit, will be along for the ride, alongside the likes of Numbers favourites, Redinho and Deadboy, and Hyperdub’s very own Scratcha DVA.

4 Years of We Fear Silence

Saturday 23rd March 2013 / Cable, London / 22.00-06.00

Main Room: Boddika, BNJMN, Dexter, Roman Lindau, Braiden

Room 2 Hosted By Loose Synths: Spokes, Shooting Horses, DLVRY

Our mission was simple; to banish any notion of quiet from the capital by facing only forward in everything we did from the outset. We Fear Silence was conceived in 2009 to bring together only the most innovative and experimental London promoters, all under one banner. Having always placed our emphasis on provoking thought, rather than adhering to trends and our cross-genre approach, we’ve always focused on quality and character rather than having one single musical direction. So, of course, after 4 years, we weren't going to let go off without a bang. Step up, Boddika.

Formerly a member of experimental, half-tempo Drum & Bass duo Instra:Mental, Alex Green is an ever evolving force in electronic music. Alongside Jon Conve, Instra:Mental embarked on a determinedly independent course for their label, Nonplus, releasing German experimental House from Kassem Mosse, electronic strangeness from Actress, and dubstep from the likes of Skream. After the precipitous creative drop-off of contemporary dubstep, things began to change for the duo and after their first LP together they called time to focus on solo projects.

Green debuted the Boddika project back in 2010, but it was only 2011 that he really began forging his new found sound with a plethora of dirty, raw electro cuts releasing via Loefah’s Swamp 81. Collaborations with Hotflush man Joy Orbison followed, helping catapult the beatsmith into the dizzy heights he now finds himself.

Alongside Boddika, we welcome German frontrunner BNJMN. Having always blurred the boundaries between the world of techno, house and funk, his full lengths for Rush Hour records were famed for their esteemed mix of sounds. BNJMN's discerning style is in high demand - with a new album penned in for release in April, he'll be showcasing some exclusives, so be down at the front for this one.

Last of all, Dexter and Roman Lindau, have both travelled over from foreign shores to join us on the Cable dancefloor. Ready to big up their respective homelands of Germany and Holland for us in to very special, select one off sets as they rep Rush Hour and Ostgut Ton Records respectively.

We're ready to party, you better be too.  Keep it locked.

We Fear Silence present Blueprint

Saturday 16th February 2013 / Cable, London / 22.00-06.00

DJs: Speedy J, Regis, James Ruskin, Daniel Miller

Room 2 Hosted By Colony: Lakker (DJ Set), Tengui, MB & CB

After drafting in Detroit pioneers, Jeff Mills and Robert Hood for their final 2 shows of 2012 – Blueprint & We Fear Silence join forces once again to bring another bona fide techno legend to the arches of Cable. On 16th February, Rotterdam’s finest, Speedy J, makes his way to London for a one-night-exclusive. Having helped shape the techno scene since his 1992 breakthrough, ‘Pullover’, a wave of inspiration has transcended across the minimal techno scene, giving it a beating pulse from which is survives. Cementing his reputation as an asset to Techno, don’t miss your chance to see a legend in London.

Further down the bill, Blueprint has got their hands on a British techno hero. Regis – a Sandwell District member of 20+ years, and label boss at Downards, is one of the most highly regarded creative forces in techno. His yearning for genuine authority in music – a motto that is then transposed into his label work, makes him a true gem. Diluting his art for no-one, Regis is an untold enigma.

Couple those two with Blueprint Records g’vner James Ruskin and Mute Records boss Daniel Miller and you’ve got a selection of the finest techno acts in the world, all under one roof.

Main Room: Robert Hood (Live), James Ruskin, Mark Broom, The Fear Ratio (DJ Set)

Room 2 Hosted By Colony

After Jeff Mills contributed to a truly prolific techno spectacle here at Cable in August, We Fear Silence & Blueprint keep the momentum going by drafting in the services of another bona fide legend, Detroit's Robert Hood. This affair is also a fitting progression to it's former in the Blueprint series, as Hood was a founding member of Underground Resistance Records alongside Jeff Mills. Saturday 17th November Should be a date carved in the diary for even the most discerning techno disciple.

In the early nineties, the streets of Detroit witnessed a congregation of electronic music enthusiasts whose forthcoming actions helped change the face of modern techno and spark a creative revolution. Hood along with Mills and Mike Banks, created the perennial Underground Resistance imprint as an output for their experimental productions which were a potent fusion of acid & industrial sounds, Chicago house and Detroit techno. He continued through the mid nineties with pivotal works for Mills’ Axis label and his own label M-Plant, leading the way for the stripped-down dance floor minimalism that further shaped the global techno landscape.

The man will perform his highly regarded live show which is infamous for being raw, industrial and relentless. Blending vintage tracks with more contemporary works such as his 2010 LP 'Omega', Hood forms original and previously unheard grooves adding an element of mystery to the dance floor. Of course label boss James Ruskin will will be on hand, as will Blueprint stalwart Mark Broom, as the pair perform individual sets before joining forces as The Fear Ratio. In terms of their work as a pair, Broom and Ruskin have released several tracks together with the more recent cuts falling under The Fear Ratio moniker. November will be the duo's Blueprint debut adding another reason to head to Cable for this momentous showcase of authentic techno. Couple with this a Colony hosted second room and the date is complete.

Jordan Peak, Tazz, Kevin Griffiths, Chris Halliday

Tsuba is excited to announce a new party in London down at Cable's sister venue Relay in partnership with We Fear Silence. The Tsuba parties so far this year have been amazing affairs with guests including Steffi, Sascha Dive, Gerd, Huxley, Spencer Parker, Ethyl and Mic Newman amongst the talent on show. Friday 5th October sees the story continue in one of London’s best clubs where label boss Kevin Griffiths is joined by special guests Jordan Peak and Tazz.

In a very short space of time Jordan Peak has risen to the top of the pile of UK house producers with his low slung & raw analogue approach. As well as Tsuba in the last 12 months he’s released on a who’s who of the best house labels around including Morris Audio, Robsoul, Raum and One Records.

Tazz, a native of Montreal makes a rare London appearance following his critically acclaimed debut album ‘Adventures of Tazz’ which was released on Tsuba this year. Expect a set of the finest underground house & techno, mixed with the panache you’d expect from a 10 year veteran of the scene. Support comes from Ketoloco badman Chris Halliday. See you on the dancefloor!

We Fear Silence present Blueprint with Jeff Mills this Saturday at Cable!

Jeff Mills & James Ruskin

We Fear Silence's coalition with James Ruskin's Blueprint movement is on the verge of it's biggest party to date..

Techno legend and visionary Jeff Mills will be appearing for the first time for Blueprint at Cable as we venture into the 16th year of Blueprint's ongoing mission. Similarly as Jeff's Axis label enters its 20th year, it's fitting that the two forces will meet to present their vision.

With Jeff and James deciding to program the whole event with special extended sets, a night of uncompromising future facing Techno will be realised.

22.00pm-06.00am

£12 Limited Early Bird £15 Advance

Main Room: Stanton Warriors, Doorly, The Freestylers feat SirReal, Evil Nine.

Room 2 - Hosted By Supatronix: Reveal, Sai, Miss Monument, Charlie Chuckles.

The Stanton Warriors continue their bass assault on London Bridge with another Stanton Sessions at Cable. Always a raucous affair and this show will be much the same with yorkshire lad Doorly heading up the attack. The 'genreless' jock spends his summers on Ibiza as the host and frontman for Ibiza rocks and also boasts a long list of studio collabs with artists such as Grandmaster Flash and Beardyman amongst others. 'Genreless' maybe, but this technical wizard's style definitely falls within the booty shakin' bass-heavy category, hence his Stanton Sessions call up.

Next up, we have a welcome return from Matt Cantor and Aston Harvey aka The Freestylers. Their influences stem back to Hip-Hop and Electro and the pair first honed their production skills back in the mid 90's. Now with a mixed bag on their shoulder, the Stanton faithful should expect breaks to ragga to dustup and with Drum & Bass spinner Sirreal to feature as part of the performance, a further string is added to their gnarly bow!

Meanwhile another duo will join the party; Evil Nine's Tom Beaufoy and Pat Pardy first combined skills in 1998 and were quickly snapped up by Adam Freeland who signed them to his Marine Parade label. Since then each of their releases have distinguished Evil Nine as innovators who refuse to blend into the scene, deriving their musical flavour from multiple influences including Post Punk, Italo-disco, Electro, Hip-Hop & Techno. Now with an eagerly anticipated third studio album on the horizon, their 'evil' sub-sonic sounds will ring true with the Cable crew. Of course we will also be welcoming back bass badmen the Stanton Warriors as they hold forte on this momentous date!

Meanwhile, Cable's second room will be in safe hands as the Supatronix crew take control with Reveal, Sai, Miss Monument, Charlie Chuckles.

£9 Early Bird, £11 Advance Tickets, £13 OTD, £18 VIP Attic
