Renaissance returns to the capital with a launch party for the new Dave Seaman Masters Series album release.

What: Renaissance @ Village Underground, Shoreditch, London, Uk
Who: Dave Seaman, Henry Saiz, Matt Tanner
When: Friday 4th November 2011

Dave has long been a close friend of Renaissance, and his previous contributions to the Master Series have been amongst the most popular. The latest installment is no exception.

Dave uses those years of experience to deliver, over two discs, a defining chapter in his illustrious career; both in track selection and execution. Introducing tracks from a variety of electronic sub-genres and editing most of them specifically for the CD, Dave is able to create a spellbinding and sometimes surprising mix.

The release will be marked by a party at the stunning Village Underground venue in London's, Shoreditch on Friday 4th November. An intriguing space, with an industrial finish, the space is made for this type of shindig and Dave will be pulling out the stops to provide a fitting soundtrack!

Joining Dave on the night will be the rising star of Henry Saiz. Henry has made quite a name for himself with a string of releases on Renaissance, Bedrock and his own, Natura Sonoris label.

Now he is set to rip up the capital... watch out!

Dave Seaman's label 'Audio Therapy' launches it's new night at Birmingham's famous Hare & Hounds music venue in Kings Heath on Friday 24th September.

Residents NEIL QUIGLEY and MURRAY MCKEE will take to the decks for warm up duties while the opening party sees PETE GOODING taking the headline slot.

Pete Gooding is one of the few British dance producers whose music is as likely to appear in a set by Laurent Garnier, Tom Middleton, ...and Dubfire, as it is by David Guetta, Pete Tong, or Groove Armada. Similarly, as a DJ, you’ll find him at the Big Chill or Roskilde, as well as regular gigs at Renaissance, Ministry Of Sound, or at We Love at Space Ibiza.

Pete Gooding has spent the past decade conjuring up a quiet storm. Sure, he’s had another worldwide chart, radio, and club hit with collaborator James Doman (‘Runnin’) and ('Hooked on you'), a project that yields yet more crossover potential with ‘Pacific State’ and ‘Hyperactive’, and remixes for Groove Armada - Love Sweet Sound, Cheryl Cole & Will I Am - 3 Words [Polydor], but his own remixes of Ultraviolet’s ‘Kites’ for Big Life (hammered by Sasha), and Humate’s ‘Choose Life’ for Yoshitoshi have fed the underground’s unabated hunger for his work, as well as picking up plays on Radio 1.

On a club level, he’s played alongside Moby, Trentemoller, Soulwax, Deadmau5, Ewan Pearson, Miss Kitten, and more, rocking floors with his mix of deep house, techno, and alt dance. One minute headlining well-known floors such as Cream and Gatecrasher, the next playing under the radar parties in Shoreditch, Croatia, or Sweden, at the request of promoters whose crowds expect that little bit more from their weekend entertainment.

His hugely successful radio show, ‘The Global Network’, neatly combines his entire musical loves. Featuring all elements of his musical palette, plus guest mixes from the likes of DJ Hell, Marc Romboy, Gabriel Ananda, and Steve Lawler, the show is now broadcast on over 40 stations worldwide. Quite where it all began depends on where you first discovered Pete or his music. Gooding has long been synonymous with Ibiza. But if you've ever set foot on La Isla Blanca, or heard him at his countless UK and international gigs, you'll know his musical clout extends far beyond chillout or obscure ambient electronica - his repertoire includes tracks that take you from beach to sunset to block-rocking main room without missing a beat. His appearances at Cafe Mambo have extended beyond his residency that lasted 10 summers. As Mambo grew from a handful of tables on the beach front to a luxury terrace complete with ice-cold water spritzers to cool the crowd, so did its reputation as the prime position for a perfect sunset vibe, long since eclipsing Cafe Del Mar thanks to Pete's chilled beats that gave way to a writhing mass of clubbers the second the sun dropped behind the ocean.

We are well and truely excited to see Pete take to the decks in the Hare & Hounds for whats going to be a world class DJ set from a true master of his art.

You can expect to see plenty more world famous guests from the Therapy DJ roster and Audio Therapy producers coming through the doors over the coming months to rock the crowd in the Hare & Hounds.

Tickets £6 adv (plus Booking fee). M.O.T.D

Renaissance Cable residency kick-starts summer with a very special line-up…

Things will undoubtedly be hotting-up in the Bermondsey Tunnel on April 24th as Renaissance welcome their strongest line-up yet in the form of Derrick Carter, Funk D’Void, Luke Solomon, Roo and resident Marcus James.

The date marks Derrick’s first Renaissance London and Cable appearance; a rare chance to catch the legendary king of Chicago jack on the venue’s incredible sound system, a very important part of its make-up that has justifiably found swift fame amongst the capital’s clubbers. Further support comes from two techno legends that have always stayed one step ahead of the curve: Funk D’Void and Luke Solomon. Renowned for their impeccable productions and equally brilliant DJ sets they complete one of the most exciting headline trilogies London has seen in quite some time.

And, if the line-up isn’t temptation enough, clubbers should note the new, lower admissions prices of £13 advance, £15 on the door.
