Evil Eddie Richards
Nathan Coles
JB & NDR (Paradox)

Wiggle kicks off it's winter season back in London with a Boom!! Still celebrating our 20th year of shaking the capital.. we bring you our next instalment back at Autumn Street Studios.

Baby Ford is one of the founders of the U.K. acid house scene.

He's released records under a slew of pseudonyms, including Casino Classix, El Mal, Solcyc and his most frequent, Baby Ford. His early work - heavily influenced by the late-'80s acid house sound, as well as Chicago producers such as Marshall Jefferson, Ron Trent, Armando, and Larry Heard - appeared primarily through the Rhythm King label, and included classic cuts such as ‘Oochy Koochy’, ‘Children of the Revolution’, and ‘Fetish’. Material has also appeared on Sire, Source, and Insumision/Transglobal.

He's released four full-length albums to date, including the debut ‘Fordtrax’ (a staple of most techno DJs) and 1997's ‘Headphone Easyrider’, one of his more listener-friendly albums. His recent work has appeared mostly through Trelik and Ifach - two of the U.K.'s most highly regarded techno labels, and both of which Ford has a hand in managing (Trelik together with Eon's Ian Loveday, Ifach with Mark Broom).

He also collaborates with Thomas Melchior as Soul Capsule and as Sunpeople.
Residents JB & NDR, from the best tuesday night party on the planet… Paradox! will be joining with a special back 2 back set, thats certainly not to be missed. Anyone who has
been to a Paradox night at the Egg, will know that they're in for a real treat!

After party at the Jamm in Brixton

Terry Francis
Nathan Coles
Eddie Richards

From Wiggle's humble beginning, in 1994, at a disused garage in Camden. It's hard to believe we're this close to celebrating 20 years of moving London town to the sound of the underground. We're going back to our roots with the venue on this one and after a lot of thought, we've come up with the perfect warehouse in East London… Autumn Street Studios!

We're pleased to announce that our after party will be at the Jamm in Brixton and will start at 6am and finish when they kick us out smile

Birthday boys Terry Francis, Nathan Coles and Evil Eddie Richards will be joined by some very fine feathered friends on the night!

Bushwacka's roots grew out of the underground warehouse parties and illegal outdoor raves that shook the foundations of the establishment, quite literally, and gave inspiration to a new generation of ravers. This anarchic environment gave Bushwacka total creative freedom, an ethos that continues to this day in his music, alway pushing the boundaries of House, Breakbeat, Techno, Downtempo and Ambient.

Lale from Belgrade will be playing along side us and what makes it even more special, is that Lale is also celebrating the 20th birthday of his much loved "Happy People" parties this year and that he was the first promoter in Serbia to bring Wiggle to the Capital 15 years ago. And we have been regular guests at "Happy People" ever since.

Wiggle – 20 Years Of House

It only seems like yesterday that I was writing about Wiggle's 10th anniversary, and now here we are a decade later, celebrating 20 years of underground ''house rhythms''. That's a remarkable achievement for a club night and, something that makes Wiggle pretty exceptional. So how did that happen? How can a night dedicated to music and dancing last so long, keep it's original audience and attract new followers with every passing year? In a word. . . consistency. Wiggle never went minimal. They didn't suddenly start booking nu disco Djs. Or randomly decide that dropping a bit of dub step might be the way forward. From day one Wiggle was all about proper, underground house music, played the way it should be. And as house music evolved, Wiggle evolved with it, often leading the way.

Which brings us around to Terry Francis, Eddie Richards and Nathan Coles. Three Djs that since day one, have always been the heart of the night – spiritually and musically. Sure, Wiggle has had some fabulous guests over the years, but perhaps more than anything, Wiggle is about it's residents, and, the relationship they have with their ever loyal crowd.

So, I wonder if I'll be sitting at my computer again in another 10 years from now, trying to find words to describe a party that for many (from South East London to South Eastern Europe and at loads of points in between) is the best club night on the planet.

I hope so.

Happy Birthday!

Wiggle have found an amazing venue for their New Years Eve party this year and one that will see them into their 20th year of putting on some of the finest underground parties in London. The words Quirky and sumptuous definitely spring straight to mind with this venue, while having a definite touch of acid house about it too and not to mention reasonable priced drinks too. Hidden in 18th century vaults under the Strand and designed with the old London style of clubs in mind, Adam Street was dreamt up in 2001 and the vaults contain a number of different spaces for partying and dancing. This unique private members club is bang in the centre of the West End and a stones throw from Covent Garden and Charing Cross. With two rooms of music, to tickle everyones fancy and a line up of Djs that kicks butt. Wiggle parties have always been renowned for their unpretentious crowd and the consistency of the music So if you want some class for your ass this NYE.. look no further and see in the new year with a Wiggle!

Joining the Wiggle Boys in the main room.

Pure Science (Live)

One of the most important characters of the techouse era, Phivos (Phil) Sebastiane aka Pure Science is not to be underestimated. He has an impressive background and his attachment to music began since he was a child, when he definitely fell in love with the synthesizers. Inspired by the legacy of the talented Depeche Mode, he was named The Scientist in the end of the eighties, nickname created by the Passion Crew due to his great potential and level of concentration. He will be performing an all new live set, which he's been very busy preparing in the studio. Pure Science has been moving dance floors with his hypnotic rhythms for over two decades and like a fine wine, his sound just gets better and better and we're very excited to have him on board.

Luke VB

Jointly responsible for parties including Superfreq, Blonde, Slow Down and armadillo, Luke vB has been DJing and promoting in London since 1995. As well as being a resident at his own parties he has also DJ’ed over the years at clubs such as The End, Fabric, Ministry, Space, The Cross and for parties such as Secretsundaze and Mulletover. He was recently based in Moscow, regularly playing at Solyanka and at Propaganda. He's also co-owner and producer for Superfreq Records which he founded with Mr C in 2008. Luke is one Dj that knows exactly what a dance floor needs, when it needs it. and see in the new year with a Wiggle.

Deep N' Disco Room:

Nancy Noise

Special Branch stalwart, original Shoomer, Future DJ (a club that changed the lives of many), Orb collaborator and general all-round sweetheart. People like Nancy, can play anything, so long as she's feeling it, in any order, and it “be Balearic”, since she defined what “Balearic” is.

Mark Collings

Manager at the legendary Tag Records store back in the day and well known for his Records Of The Fortnight parties, where everyone from Carl Cox to Marco Carola graced the decks. Mark knows whats what when it comes to moving a dance floor and thats for sure.

has been a keen music maker, enthusiast, music lover and DJ for the last 12 years and is all about taking people on a musical journey and not sticking to the any one particular genre.. Playing everything from Soul, Funk, Hip Hop to Funky, Filthy, Minimal, Deep and Soulful House music! If it's got soul and makes you want to dance your ass off? Then it's IN the bag! To Miss.C its all about the moment and playing what 'fits' and 'adds' to it all the most."Music is a feeling and creates an atmosphere, it's all about finding the right one, at the right time, to inspire the right vibe"

We're giving away a free drink to every advance ticket holder, who arrives before 11pm and we're opening up the doors at 9.30pm so everyone has enough time to get in and ready for midnight. Add all this to the fact that you can get a bus, train and tube for free right up to the front door of the venue, jump straight into Europe's fastest lift to the 31st floor and before you know it.. you'll be as high as a kite and up there with the fireworks that'll be lighting up London's skyline on the night.

Early birds sold out twice as fast as last year for this one and there's only 60 x £30 (With free drink before 11pm) left now... so don't hang about, it will sell out!

To help see in the New Year, along with our trusted residents we have so far enlisted the skills of the Marvellous Mr.

Tim Green
Prepossessing the ability to effortlessly maneuver through the realms of house and techno, as dawn breaks over 2012 the many facets of Tim Green’s production dexterity is casting reflections in innumerable directions, illuminating a musical and thought-induced excursion on which the 27-year old is embarking.

Experimenting across the spectrum of electronic music, whether putting out reverberating minimal techno of Amnesia peak-time kind-of-measures, or sprinkling some of that unmistakeable TG charm over productions of popular appeal, his work is stamped by ingenuity, fearlessness and fun – which also granted him the ‘Best Breakthrough Producer’ award at DJ Mag’s Best of British in 2010.
After fully bursting onto the scene in 2008 with modern classics ‘Revox’ and ‘Mr Dry’ snapped up by highly-revered Dirtybird and Trapez Records respectively, and picking up support from top players such as Sven Vath, Richie Hawtin and Luciano along the way, Tim swiftly catapulted himself into the upper echelons of the techno hierarchy. A string of high profile releases followed in short succession adding Cocoon, Get Physical, Saved & Four:Twenty to an already impressive back catalogue, as well as remixes for XL Records, Sci+Tec, Moshi Moshi and Souvenir.

With an idiosyncratic groove and off-kilter cheekiness his sound has seen him tour the electronic bastions of the world, including Space - Ibiza, Womb - Tokyo, Fabric - London, Sankeys - Manchester, Watergate - Berlin, D-edge - Sao Paulo, Electric Pickle - Miami, WHP - Manchester, Bestival - Isle Of White, SW4 Festival - London, Zouk - Singapore, Rex Club - Paris. As we are heading into 2012 Tim makes a welcomed return to his underground roots, captivating crowds in more intimate yet discerning settings, along with heading up his own night Bedlam, which is currently on everyone’s lips.

On the production side of things 2012 is already looking like another stella year with with a dark and twisted remix of Sacha Robotti ft Qzen's Fotograf on Klasse Recordings and, following on from last year's ‘In Love EP’ on Get Physical, he has teamed up with Robert Dietz & Audiofly for a remix package due for release in April. This summer will see him return once more to Cocoon to release the outstanding ‘Curious Smile’ release, plus an EP for Get Physical and remixes for Supernature & Oh Yeah Records, as well as his much anticipated debut artist album.
If taking into consideration the achievements Tim has reached in the span of merely four years, it is a gathered electronic community that awaits his next move, Where to next?

Wiggle is over the moon to announce that they're back at Paramount for new years eve and after last years party in this very special venue, who can blame them! You simply couldn't ask for better views of London than what you get from the 31st floor of the Centre Point sky scraper, and you definitely couldn't ask for a better party to go with them either! All the Wiggle's at Paramount have been sell outs since they started there back in june 2010 and we expect more of the same as we say hello to 2012 in style.

We will be opening the doors at 9.30pm this time to make sure everyone that wants to get in before midnight can, and we'll also be supplying advance ticket holders with a free tall drink to help see in the new year while enjoying the fireworks going up over the incredible London skyline.

If you haven't been to the Paramount yet and experienced the views, then take this virtual tour, check out the event space at night, press the + sign to zoom in on the view and you get an idea what you'll be getting on the night and just imagine the fireworks.

We're still in the process of confirming the full line up at the moment and that will follow soon... but those that know Wiggle already, should have no doubt that it's gonna be goooooood!

For starters though, we're very very happy to bring you a DJ/Producer that is so far up Wiggle's street, we've actually had to extend the street and even make the A-Z bigger! Wiggle is proud to present

Whether its through his productions, radio shows, compilations, parties or club sets, D'Julz has been at the forefront of electronic music since his career first began back in 1992. A firm DJ and fan favourite alike, his ability to transcend genres and trends has seen him hold one of the most consistent levels of success of any modern day DJ/Producer. A run of form that is at its strongest, today.

1997 saw the birth of the now legendary, 'Bass Culture' parties at Paris' Rex club. The monthly party has now become the longest running event in the clubs history, and in 2009 gave its name to D'Julz's brand new, and highly successful record label.

Having released his debut productions in the mid 90's, it was the early 2000's that really saw him make an impact. His music has now featured on some of the worlds finest labels, and his releases and remixes for the likes of Ovum, 20:20 Vision, Dessous, Pokerflat, Safari, Real Tone, Get Physical, Mobilee, Rekids, Systematic and 100% Pure have all become essential weapons in the sets and record boxes of the world's elite. In recent times D'Julz has reached a new level of production excellence. 2008's ‘Just so You Know’ on Ovum and 'Fleurette' on Circus Company became instant classics, and his current release for the label 'Rotondo' is well on its way to achieving similar status. His remix of Slam's 'Positive Education' on Soma, and his edit of Anonym's 'Lov Is Easy' on his own Bass Culture label have ruled the DJ and download charts alike.

Arnaud Le Texier
French born artist Arnaud Le Texier started Safari Electronique in London, 2005. An artist with plenty of knowledge and substance behind him, Arnaud had been on the electronic music scene for over 10 years before commencing with Safari Electronique. Arnaud’s career dates back to 1990 when he first began managing record shops and building what is now a huge archive of knowledge, taste and musical dedication to his name. His five year residency at Paris’s Queen and memorable sets around Europe over the years that followed perfected Arnaud’s dj’ing skills, earning him his spot in the worldwide scene where he continues to this day to be aprominent dj and production figure. At the beginning of 2006 Arnaud decided to live in London where he plays in different clubs or parties such as T Bar, Minimal Hospital, Secret Sundaze, Bread & Butter, Half Baked, Multi Vitamins etc … and he is a regular Dj at Fabric since 5 years. Last September he made quite of an impression when he rammed the room 2 of Fabric for Safari Electronique 5 years anniversary, along side Antonio De Angelis, D'julz, David Labeij. In 2009 Safari Numerique was born. It's the little sister of Safari Electronique. On this digital version Arnaud wants to push more upcoming talents with a sound more deep house and deep techno. Arnaud is a perfect blend of natural talent and raw flare with very distinctive music. He produced different EP's & remixes for Bass Culture, 2020 Vision, SCI + TEC, Multivitamins, Climatic Sounds, Children of Tomorrow etc... Through his focus on music quality and originality, as well as his performances on an international level, Arnaud Le Texier is becoming one of the leaders in electronic sound.

Claire Ripley
Over the past 3 years Claire has stormed in to the House and Techno scene with an array of stunning releases with her first major E.P getting signed to Steve Bug's highly respected imprint Dessous Recordings. Becoming a regular feature on the label she not only showcases her original work but also remixing for the Dessous Best Kept Secrets Release.

With 2010 being a big year for Claire she went on to also feature for several other labels such as Neurotraxx, Dogmatik Records and London based Murmur having her huge hit 'Slow Loris' remixed by Solomun which gained respect and plays from none other than Richie Hawtin. 2011 sees Claire pushing the same tempo with a strong output of forthcoming scheduled releases on Gorge's Katchuli and 1Trax with a remix of Robert Owens - I'll Be Your Friend alongside Jamie Jones, Dyed Soundorom, Soul Clap & Gadi Mizrahi, Matt Tolfrey & Inxec and more. Its easy to see why Claire was featured as Keep An Eye On in Mixmag in 2010.

Wiggle @ Paramount

Simon Baker (Cocoon, 2020 Vision, Infant)
Alex Celler (Cecille, Freak n' Chic)
Nathan Coles
Evil Eddie Richards
James O' Connel

Wiggle steps up to the plate again for it's next instalment on the 22nd of october and being extremely privileged enough to be one of only two promoters allowed to put on parties at the Paramount, we think it would be rude not too! And if the response we've had at every party in this fabulous venue is anything to go by, then the majority of you chaps do too!

As always to compliment the jaw dropping views of the capital from the 31st floor of the Paramount, we will be supplying only the very finest in disc jugglers, so yet again we bring you another smasher of a line up!

Simon Baker

Simon Baker has played an influential part of the UK house and techno scene for the better part of the last decade. He is an artist that generates his own musical trail through a stand out style, which is purely his own and always current. Pioneering labels such as Cocoon and Playhouse have long since been pressing his tracks, and each of these has helped stamp his dextrous musical talent upon the far reaches of the globe. Simon Baker has cultivated his resolute DJ skills over the last 17 years, putting them into continual practice through constant demand for worldwide touring. He recently completed his third full North American tour including a debut at Space in Miami and summer 2010 saw him regularly guest at Kehakuma at Space in Ibiza and grace the stage at the huge Carl Cox And Friends event in Mallorca. Other highlights for the year included the Parklife Festival and The Warehouse Project in Manchester, a new residency at Liverpool’s cutting edge mUmU party and air london showcases in Paris, Barcelona and Ibiza.

Alex Celler

Alex’s music has a style which is energetic and intense, a tech house/techno sound full of swing, complex rhythms & deep basslines and a style which is aimed squarely at the dancefloor. Always keeping the quality levels high and choosing not to release music too frequently, the resulting demand has seen Alex continue his associations with Area Remote and Cecille, as well Tuning Spork, Freak n’ Chic, on Lauhaus’s Soweso label (as Steller). 2011 continues with new music coming on the much-esteemed Spanish label Barraca Music, the ‘Blue Vaudeville’ EP on Cecille Numbers and first appearances on Moon Harbour (with remix of Martinez’s ‘Kamino’) and as a DJ, with his debut tours of South America and the United States plus a second appearance on the Ibiza Voice podcast series. This versatility and dedication to upholding values passed down stand him out as a talent that should burn bright for a generation.

James O' Connel

James has been a staunch Wiggle supporter for years and can always been found amidst the madness of the dance floor shaking a leg or two. He's been quickly making a name for himself with his weekly radio show on supreme dance and this Wiggle debut see's him celebrate his birthday, so expect things to kick off right from the start!

Ding Dong! Wiggle is well chuffed to announce that we're going back to an amazing venue we used some years ago, but couldn't get hold of again until now. It goes under the name of Hidden these days and is even more special with some extra tweaks they've done to the place since we last used it! it now boasts a great outside terrace with bar and the whole club is just well bang tidy! This time we have decided to go for a friday on the august bank holiday, so we all have even more time to recover from the usual shenanigans that will undoubtably ensue. Have a look at Hidden here:

Excited would be a vast understatement when we tell you that we've confirmed Dachshund from Highgrade fame to do a live set for us, which he is putting together especially for the night! The man has done so many tunes it's ridiculous and is one of those rare producers that you know your gonna like his next release before you've even heard it! Have a read and listen about Dachshund on the links below and find out why we're chomping on the bit so much about having him play live at Wiggle.

Warming the evening's proceedings up nicely for us will be Kleo. Hailing from North London, Kleo's reputation for powerful underground music continues to grow apace. Influenced by all kinds of producers and DJs, he has been honing the deep, moody and melodic style for which he has become known for over 20 years. Look out for Kleo's new label Kleek which has it's first release due this summer.

The Disco / House room went down so well at the 17th birthday party, we decided it would be only right to have it as part of Wiggle every time we have a venue to suit, so here we go again! The one and only Freaky Disco will be hosting the room for the evening and our very own Eddie Richards will be putting together something special for us and lets face it, that can only be a good thing and definitely needs to be heard! Terry Francis will also be doing his Disco thang again and bringing us the finest from his god damn funky vaults, old and new. To top things off nicely, Mr Mark Collings who most of you will know from the sadly missed Tag Records shop will be supplying us with some alternative beats from his vast and varied collection.

Very very limited £8 early bird tickets available now until they're gone and lets face it, at that price they'll be gone in a flash, so don't hang about!
