Label: Soulfire Downloads
When such respected DJ's as Eric Prydz, Sasha, Laurent Garnier, Danny Tenaglia, John Digweed and Groove Armada are supporters of Soulfire Downloads, you know this is a rather hot label.
Label boss Lee Ager, aka Soulfire returns with his latest Eris. The Liverpudlian, now living in Melbourne has been working with his label and his own productions. Here we see Eris as a melodic chunky workout with the emphasis on the melody that loops around with warm pads adding depth, nods to the past yet keeping it current.
The remix package kicks off with Superstar DJ Hernan Cattaneo and studio partner Soundexile teaming up once again. Here cool synths dropping in over effected pads, and the hypnotic vibe is prolonged, with the melody not dropping fully until after half way which consequentially shifts things up a gear and enhances the emotional depth. Hernan proving his worth why he's such a respected DJ.
Fellow Argentinian Marcelo Vasami takes to the helm, oozing quality with his stripped back deep mix. Layers of subtle melodics and infectious sounds merge and create tension, especially in the breakdown. A very cool remix that will turn a few heads for sure.
Completing the package we stay in South America, this time venturing to Brazil with Alec Araujo & Goraieb delivering a phat peak time, key changing, chord laden, smile evoking monster. With these guys previous work for Global Underground and Stripped to name a few, its easy to see why they have many International DJ fans.
Another big package from this great label causing a fuss with many a DJ.
