Is Twisted Audio still going? Had some good nights there at Babalou.

Thanks for the memories Dave.  It's been hilarious.

Arcadia. I liked it too..... main room was hot but not as bad as fire was.

That's the one. Main room was something of an inferno but good layout.

I don't think anybody in the right mind blames the Liverpool fans outright for Hillsborough

I can think of at least one person on this board.

Hard work.

Haven't read it for years, but iirc it's a whole lot easier if your in a 'Universal Gus State of Mind'.

Finished it today.  Not a fucking clue.

In Cold Blood by Truman Capote next.

Reading Heart of Darkness at the minute.

Hard work.

Broken Bells - After the Disco

Not as good as their first album but some quality tunes nonetheless.

I stand by it.  In my free and single days I ploughed through many a cracking brass there but the majority of the female population look like they've been hit in the face with a frying pan.

There are some absolute horror-shows in Thailand, far more bad than good.

Just as a point of order but the club are always led by Juventus on how to mark the Heysel disaster.

Thirty years next year so you would hope there would be some sort of memorial.

Not as good as The Sopranos but better than Midsomer Murders, no?

At least John Nettles can actually act.

They were showing Underbelly:The Golden Mile set in Kings Cross in Sydney when I first got here. I actually thought it was a spoof when I caught a bit of it.

Comically bad.

Anyone seen Underbelly?

It's utter fucking bilge as is anything cultural produced by Australians.

Music, TV, film - all horrendous. I'm not into opera but I'd bet they fuck that up too.

Spent a stag weekend in Bulgaria a few years back and didn't see anything under forty that you wouldn't smash.

Probably for the same reason they say "day-boo" or "d'boo" instead of "debut".

Enjoyed Nick Curly's mix too.

It's dire.

I actually have met a couple and, annoyingly, they were actually alright.  They know they're onto a massive racket though.

The absolute pits in Sydney. Rude, clueless, obnoxious and ridiculously expensive.

Airport immigration officers.

Wankers the world over.

Yep. I was absolutely disgusted with it at the time. Maybe it's improved with age like a fine wine but I fucking doubt it.

I've got loads of absolute shockers from my trance days in the loft at home. I'd never throw them out though.

From my Digweed collection I'd say his Fabric effort and Transitions 4 are neck and neck in the dog shit stakes.

Sasha's 8 hour marathon at The Key about 7 years ago was one of the best nights I've been to.

Was The Key the one with the Blockbusters style light up dance floor? Bit of a dump if I remember rightly.

Bagley's in all its guises was always terrible.  The worst night there (Freedom?) used to feature a moody garage arena full of wannabe rude boy gangsters next to the room with Ariel playing the same fucking set every week.

The Cross, however, was the absolute nuts.  I've not seen a better club in London before or since.
