On Saturday 16th March MOTION returns to The WorkShop in Shoreditch and we have the pleasure of presenting to you one of the longest running clubnights in the UK, as we team up with EMPATHY for what is going to be an absolutely colossal night!!!

Headlining are the Empathy residents – JIM RIVERS, Stuart Wilkinson & Adam Kent, with support coming from Motion residents Sam Hedworth & Darren Lee Fenton.

Jim Rivers needs little introduction – Since catapulting into the limelight in 2006 with his debut single ‘Restore’ on Satoshi Tomiie’s Saw Recordings, Jim has taken in a world tour and US tour rocking many of the biggest clubs in the world. He has released numerous stellar tracks and remixes on labels such as Bedrock, Intec, Saved, Four:Twenty, Oosh and ALiVE, which are regularly found in sets from DJ’s such as John Digweed, Carl Cox, Stephan Bodzin, Simon Baker, David Squillace, Laurent Garnier and Josh Wink. Jim has also founded his own record labels, Misfit and Platform, as well as releasing a mix CD for Global Underground’s Nu-Breed Series.

Stuart Wilkinson started the Empathy clubnight in Bristol in 2000, where over the last thirteen years he has played alongside some of the world’s best DJ's including Timo Maas, Adam Freeland, Locodice, Nick Warren, Paolo Mojo, Hybrid, Guy Gerber, Lee Burridge, James Zabiela, Pete Heller, Dave Seaman, Meat Katie and James Holden. He has also played all over Europe with gigs in Turkey, Ibiza, Poland, Austria, Northern Ireland and Portugal, with particular highlight's being his association with Creamfields in Prague, playing three warm up parties live on Europa2 Radio and the Creamfields festival itself. In 2007, Stuart played at Bedrock in London with John Digweed, in 2008 he played alongside Sasha at Ministry of Sound's 18th Birthday and in 2009 he played in the West Dance tent at Glastonbury. Stuart is also no stranger to Motion having absolutely rocked the WorkShop for us back in November 2010.

Adam Kent’s residency at Empathy has seen him play alongside DJ’s Darren Emerson, Jamie Anderson, Jody Wisternoff, and Quivver and also Nick Harris on Empathy’s annual Boat Party. A mammoth 5 hour long set at the See No Evil Block Party last year had 500 people grooving to Adam’s deepest house and techno in the streets of Bristol. Appearing on Bristol’s much loved 4th Floor radio show was a recent highlight, with upcoming appearances planned on U.S. and Eastern European radio stations. Mariana is Adam's latest project in conjunction with production maestro Bailey. Designed to be an outlet for their combined love of deep, trippy tech house, the project is suitably named after the deepest ocean trench in the world: Mariana.

And of course, joining the Empathy guys will be Motion residents Sam Hedworth & Darren Lee Fenton, bringing the trademark Motion sound of tech house, progressive and techno.

You won’t find a free party of this quality anywhere else, so see you on the dancefloor for another amazing night!!!

Nice one Erik! Had some great nights down at WorkShop. Is a wkd little venue. Looking forward to being back there! smile

After a bit of a hiatus the Motion clubnight returns to WorkShop on Saturday 12th January for another massive night playing the best in tech house, progressive and techno.

Helping us celebrate our return will be the residents of a London clubnight which is set to go nuclear in 2013. Over the last five years Nuestra Casa have built up a reputation for throwing fantastic parties and following two massively successful boat parties featuring Desyn Masiello and Tom Middleton they are set to take the night to a whole new level. Having mostly been based at Bar Vinyl in Camden, in February they move to the bigger venue of Relay (aka Cable) in London Bridge where they welcome back Tom Middleton and also Robert Babicz live. That promises to be an absolutely huge night and so we’re looking forward to a sneak preview of their residents Jamie ‘BroKen DJs’ Scott, Oliver James and Cosmique at Motion on 12th January.

Joining them will be Motion residents Sam Hedworth & Darren Lee Fenton, who will be playing one of their trademark back to back Motion sets. Anyone who has been to Motion before will know that these guys really tear up the dance floor. Expect another beast of a set!

With an extended finishing time of 5am it promises to be one hell of a party!!! See you on the dance floor!!!

Saturday night was possibly the best Bedrock I've been to! Loved the venue.. Nice and dark, DJ box at a good level, sound really good (unlike XOYO), decent finishing time, and Diggers playing a 7 hour and 45 minute masterclass.. Was awesome!!!

I'm really hoping the next ones at Fire too. I know we're all attached to Heaven because of all the amazing nights we've had in there but I thought Fire was the best venue Bedrock's been at.

This video says it all really.. good work progged!...

Yeah Grial's top. It's been refurbed this year but is a wkd tiny venue with a decent soundsystem. There's never many people there so you get Sasha all to yourself. smile Plus he hangs around all night and has chats and drinks with everyone in the seating area outside. smile

Here's a video I took in July... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H5llLvMAXGM

Nice one guys!!! Really looking forward to Saturday!!! Gonna be an awesome night!!!
