Re: 2002 DjMag Top 100 - Voting

I think I will vote for Impasse and Jamie Nowell, am tempted to vote for Jon Lisle on the strength of the CDs I will probably decided against it as I've not seen him live yet.

The only other one in Ajos' list that would get my vote would be Steve Gerrard.

Do you get 3 votes ? If so the third would probably be Matt Gander.

In the past I have told JD his site is naff and he needs to ditch his current web-writers. Little substance and visually unappearing. It was not easy to spot that clicking on links brings up information to the left (In terms of HCI design, not what humans expect)... Plus if you do not realise this then you think nothing has happened... which I reckon to be 90% of users.

I suggested that he look at the Paulo Mojo site which is very good and easy to use... and to get that company to write it.

So far heard nothing back...

Re: 2002 DjMag Top 100 - Voting

Yes... this took me ages as well...

If you get an error... you need to do something like:

- If your mobile number has a space in it... take it out

or was it:

- If your mobile number does not have a space in it... put one in.

You get the idea.

Re: 2002 DjMag Top 100 - Voting

Ajos, I have a sneaking suspicion I know who did both sites! Yes, not the same company, but the same person.

I think the Digweed site looks fantastic, functionality isn't brilliant.

I only said what I said above to get a rise out of someone. That's a clue...

Re: 2002 DjMag Top 100 - Voting

No way... can't be done by same person... Paolo site is good... JDigweed site is in the top 10 worst this year.

I hate flash... that does not help for a start. As a traveller... I want simple sites that are going to work on many computers.

You are wrong.

We'll soon find out whether I've got to get my coat.

Ps. Why no show at Bedrock. Saw Mark Newton there, he said you weren't going. I didn't believe him.

Re: 2002 DjMag Top 100 - Voting
