Re: The General Footy Thread

Wellbeck and Sturridge appear to have had their feet inserted into clowns shoes this evening.

Re: The General Footy Thread

Is it just me or is it almost impossible to tell which one is which?

Re: The General Footy Thread

England will be ripped to shreds by any half decent team.

Wellbeck was the one being complete dogshit tonight

Carrick should've stayed on and Wellbeck off

and Lampard did a good job of nearly getting himself sent off - lol

We might struggle to beat such a team mate but 'ripped to shreds'?

Re: The General Footy Thread

I think Wellbeck needs to go and live with his Auntie and Uncle in Bel Air for a while

^^quite

i'm liking the 4-3-3 / 4-2-3-1

however at times we could do with another midfield body in there and not a striker dropping back

Baines has got to be first choice left back now for Rio - fantastic shift from him tonight

Evra's days at the Mancs are surely numbered - bin him off to PSG/Monaco in Jan and get Baines in

Yet another Matt Black 'They all look alike' post. Something you need to tell us?

So who else does he look like, Matt?

Note: that guy above looks nothing like Will Smith...

I'm not getting carried away with all the nonsense around Ravel Morrison since he scored against Spurs - the kid has promise but still has a LONG way to go - on the other hand this finish did make me laugh out loud - yes it's in training and no it doesn't prove anything but it made me laugh out loud nonetheless...

Still not getting carried away...

Re: The General Footy Thread

The first 45 mins was as good as i've seen England play for a good 3 or 4 years.  Nice to see us play with the tempo and pace of the premiership.

Re: The General Footy Thread

My brother had great pleasure in telling me that Ravel is currently 5-1 to be on that plane to Rio – as long as hes wearing Red after January this looks like free money

When I play......no dog barks!!!!

In the crowd for each and every game, no doubt.

Re: The General Footy Thread

JT's coming out of retirement for one last hurrah in Brazil.

You heard it here first.

Pretty sure the Arsenal kit has a bit of white in it too Nick.

John Digweed has two other brothers called Paul and Ringo

Will Woy be there though, after his "feed the monkey" quote.

Re: The General Footy Thread

As much as I've enjoyed the last two England games it's nice to get back to the muck and nettles of the premiership.

Cardiff at home on Saturday, looking forward to it.

Re: The General Footy Thread

Init.

Re: The General Footy Thread

Odd that the "Feed the Monkey" row is not being reported in the guardian or on bbc site. Maybe the FA got to them.

Re: The General Footy Thread

What a sad bunch of cunts the media are, bending things out of shape as usual.  As if Woy meant Townsend was the monkey. More likely to have been one of the others.

Re: The General Footy Thread

On SSN, they said it's a punchline to an old joke? Doubt it was a Bernard Righton line.
