I never understood to fascination with football violence or why people would ever enjoy it.  It's moronic which i guess is why it went down well in Leeds?

Just like i don't understand why people sing at football.  Weird.

And national anthems.  They're weird too.  I mean, let's all stand up and sing a song together about our country.

Unless it's the French one...or the Russian one. Top tunes, them two.

Are you going to ask him about his Savile-like control over his former players?  You never hear any of them divulge dressing room secrets, even years after they've gone.

Re: The General Footy Thread

Total Buzzkill on Saturday was Nani.

What the fuck was his shooting about and as for when he just fell on the ground and gifted them a break on the half way line.

He would have got the hook in the AUL for that alone.

This.

Media spinning it for all they're fucking worth so far this season about Man Utd in crisis/freefall/disarray/pick-your-adjective - truth is they'll both finish top 4 and I wouldn't (yet) back Man City to finish higher than them.

Re: The General Footy Thread

Missed this last week.

Re: The General Footy Thread

SAF was only on for an hour - great rock n roll swindle.

Re: The General Footy Thread

No added on time, BF?

Re: The General Footy Thread

Word on the strasse was that the Q&A session was curtailed as Moyesey was there and he would hog the microphone.

Re: The General Footy Thread

Season warming up nicely.

Spurs the least convincing so far and will miss out on a champs league spot on the last day of the season as per.

Hate them even more due to Yant who is an absolute clown, albeit a likeable one.

Backhanded compliment from the nicest guy on the board.  I'll take that.

Mmmmm, so gutted to have gone out with three first choice defenders and a DM rested, plus Ozil and Giroud barely breaking a sweat. Ask yourself this, would Mourinho be happy come May if he's holding the Mickey Mouse Cup and Wenger has his hands on the Premier League title?

That's a rhetorical question by the way.
