have never watched or wanted to watch

saw 'The Way Way Back' the other night - a coming of age flick with Sam Rockwell on good form 7/10

Re: **The Bedrock "Rate The Last Movie You Watched" Thread**

Watched "The Counselor" - disappointing. Bored me to tears, didn't know what was happening through the thing. 3/10

Re: **The Bedrock "Rate The Last Movie You Watched" Thread**

Camp 14 - Total Control Zone. Best documentary Ive seen in a while. 9/10

Story of a guy born inside a labour camp in North Korea. He escaped when he was 23.

Youll have a new found respect for the camp guards after watching this.

Re: **The Bedrock "Rate The Last Movie You Watched" Thread**

Took my Son to see the new X-Men film last night

He loved it.....I thought it was total pipe 4/10

Great doco,9 for me as well.

Re: **The Bedrock "Rate The Last Movie You Watched" Thread**

Dark Skies.  Meh.

6/10.

Re: **The Bedrock "Rate The Last Movie You Watched" Thread**

On my re-arranged trip to New Orleans I only managed to watch Dallas Buyers' Club - a massive row with my missus which turned into a long brooding one and a kip ruined my plans, in particular Nebraska.

Dallas Buyers's Club is excellent, 9/11

Re: **The Bedrock "Rate The Last Movie You Watched" Thread**

Godzilla was alright 7/10 - not enough Bryan Cranston tho

for a CGI monster he looked pretty bad ass - the same can't be said for the MUTOs tho

Re: **The Bedrock "Rate The Last Movie You Watched" Thread**

After Earth. I love a post-apocalyptic romp as much as the next man but Will Smith does a fairly passable effort to make Nicholas Cage seem versatile. As wooden as rocking horse shit. And his currant bun wasn't much better. I did a bit of sick in my mouth at the end.

Re: **The Bedrock "Rate The Last Movie You Watched" Thread**

GJust watched This is the End with the mrs.

Utter shite.

Twelve Years a Slave - 7/10 - better than I expected to be honest.

The Secret Life of Walter Mitty - 5/10 - silly.

Caveat: both of these choices were my wife's.

Re: **The Bedrock "Rate The Last Movie You Watched" Thread**

Enjoyed xmen. Good script and magneto was bad ass. 8/10

Re: **The Bedrock "Rate The Last Movie You Watched" Thread**

I also enjoyed the new X-Men.

Re: **The Bedrock "Rate The Last Movie You Watched" Thread**

Watched It's All Gone Pete Tong a few nights ago.

Ridiculous film and enjoyable enough.

Recent viewed

All Is Lost - Superb but i dropped it a point when sharks started to circle his dingy, bit of an obvious one. Not as good as Dead Calm natch.

Tim's Vermeer - Brilliant docu about this mate of Penn & Teller who is a mad obsessive inventor who replicated a Johann Vermeer masterpiece.

Canadian production, oddly enough.  If you liked that, you should watch Fubar - which Tongy saw and liked when he invested in It's All Gone and made sure the team behind that were involved.

Magnolia 9/10. Amazing stuff. The interweaving of the stories, the cleverness of it all. Astounding.

Re: **The Bedrock "Rate The Last Movie You Watched" Thread**

Can't think of a bad Paul Thomas Anderson movie. The Directors' Director. A bit like Geoff Ladek being the Remixers' Remixer.

Godzilla. 7/10. Good effort by Gareth Edward. Held back by a poor script and Brian Cranston getting killed off half way through. **SPOILER ALERT**
I should also knock off another point for not getting to see Gozilla's bollocks. Surely he must have a massive set of plums on him. They could have pixelated them for the Japanese release too.

The Master.

An over long borefest that was blatantly about Hubbard but they didn't have the bollocks to come out with it. In fact all his films are at least 30 mins too long, There Will Be Blood is a good example apart from Heather Graham in roller skates, natch.

Enjoyed The Master. But I can understand why some people don't.

Don't recall a Heather Graham roller skate scene in 'There Will Be Blood'. It probably could have done with one mind.

It could have done with a full stop in there somewhere.

Locke: imagine a Welsh Bane. Hogging the middle lane of the M6. Nearly using up all of his Vodafone 100 minutes price plan in one journey. Not sure it required a cinema visit. But The Dagmar cinema in København is always worth a visit, nevertheless. 7/10.

Mud.

More like Meh.

5/10

Re: **The Bedrock "Rate The Last Movie You Watched" Thread**

Bit harsh that, Yant. Would have given it a 7/10 like I do with all my reviews on here.
