Re: Most Relaxing Tune Ever

Odd, I thought it was this:

John Digweed has two other brothers called Paul and Ringo

Flaresy - Uneasy Listening Vol.1

Re: Most Relaxing Tune Ever

Brian Eno -An Ending(Ascent)

Re: Most Relaxing Tune Ever

Awful control   Broken physics   Horrific AI   Weak voice work   Poor textures.

And that's just Wally on the pull.

I nearly fell over when I found out it was THIRTY years old recently.

Talk about being ahead of your time.

Also "Miserere" by Gregorio Allegri.First heared it sampled on some Orb tune and then in Il Duomo in Florence.Spine tingling stuff

Re: Most Relaxing Tune Ever

Listened to it. Made me want to have a wank.

So I guess it works.

Have a recommendation:

Used this on my 'Terminal Moraine' mix a few years back - my version of a 'Back To Mine' type mix - still makes the hairs on the back of my *everywhere* stand up and also benefits from one of the better track names...

A Silver Mount Zion - Thirteen Angels Standing Guard Around The Side Of your Bed

Eno's Ending/Ascent is also, of course, beautiful.

Re: Most Relaxing Tune Ever

Quite surprised this one didn't make a showing in the top 10......

Fucking immense music.  Had this for years on vinyl before I discovered that it was the 14:31 track by GC that everyone was raving about - for the real, REAL, old heads of this board I used this tune as the opener on my first 'alter-native-logic' mix about 12 years ago.  Gorgeous, GORGEOUS, piece...

have always loved the 20 min version of 'a huge ever growing pulsating brain that rules from the centre of the ultraworld' - with the Minnie Ripperton 'loving you' sample
