Topic: FAO those who want the early Jon Lisle mixes...

... I've dredged the hard-drive and zipped up six of the early mixes - in rough chronological order...

Autobiography - 2001
Contaminated Land - 2001
Loose Cannon - 2001
Bedrock 3rd Birthday Party - 2001
Gatecrasher Warm Up - 2002
Regime Change - 2003

... unfortunately I ripped them from the CDs in the days when 192/256kbps was considered acceptable but I can assure you they came from the original CDs and even the 192s don't sound too bad.

I can get the original CDs out of storage in the near future as required for better copies - and I have 11 more of Jon's mixes but have selected the six above 'cos they best represent what he was doing and playing when he came to prominence.

Re: FAO those who want the early Jon Lisle mixes...

The Bedrock 3rd Birthday was my fave.... Hybrid's remix of Sarah McClachlan's 'Fear', what a tune!

Bedrock Brighton and Phatplastic were two other mixes/cds that Jon did.

No, it's a 3 deck mash up I think... that's what stood out to a lot of people at the time, very talented guy.

Hehehehe - email just received from Dropbox...

"Smashdad, This email is an automated notification from Dropbox that your Public links have been temporarily suspended for generating excessive traffic. Your Dropbox will continue to function normally with the exception of Public links."

... no idea how long the restriction lasts but apologies if you're trying to download - try again tomorrow maybe?!

No idea what's going on - the number of downloads got stuck for a while on 39 but it's now jumped to over 50 so I'm guessing they're working again?

Accordingly I've taken my link offline.  Hope the 66 people who grabbed the zip enjoy the mixes.
