Topic: The weekly Transitions thread.

Hasn't even got a place to discuss it on here. Yeh you've got the radio show forum that nobody goes near and SimonR tried to replicate MS in, but this place needs something else.
Loads of times Ive wanted to give it a ruck of feedback without it turning into sycophantic smarm bag thread for kiz, Ahad, Simon and the likes to wack off in. More of a bog standard type about the tracks, the guest mix and did you hear it and what you thought jobby. So here it is.

In fairness there hasn't been a bad one for a while. The last few weeks has had some reet good bangers on it.

Re: The weekly Transitions thread.

Missed quite a few of them recently (mainly down to not having the time available to find and download it).

Any standout ones really worth listening to?  the last one i heard was John's mix that started with Love Your Illusion - must've been about a month ago i think.

This reeks of a 30/40/50 pager...

... of Ahad posts.

Re: The weekly Transitions thread.

Ahad has the worst taste of anyone on here. Indisputable. He regularly posts some absolute shockers.

Re: The weekly Transitions thread.

Not sure Ahad will embrace the thread how id like, might have to ban him. Will probably end up just posting 5 tracks nobody has ever heard of that are ultimately underwhelming.

All of them have been mint recently. I dodge a lot of the guest mixes. Some were shockers early in the year.

Must have a hunt to check some out then.  TBF Diggers' weekly hour is usually spot on anyway.

This thread needs a sticky, surely. And I'm not talking about the stain on the inside of SimonR's pants.

Nah very ordinary.

Re: The weekly Transitions thread.

About time someone made a thread about transitions: Guess it takes a stalwart to get anywhere?

Cristoph - Big H Ep[NORDIC TRAX] - loved this track, really nice feel to it

Pachanga boys remix of Royksopp - running to the sea is also a grower, wasn't sure to start with but I love what they have done with the vocal. It may be a bit sickly sweet (Sussane sundfor's voice is intense and beautiful, but the Villas remix of this is my favourite)

Both these tracks on: John Digweed & Harvey McKay - Transitions 483 2013-11-29

The future ain't what it used to be.

Re: The weekly Transitions thread.

What if I sticky this to the mixes forum? Then we can post all the links we want. Everybody wants to be the DJ is the best, Sbando updates it every Friday, quite early on. Tracklists and everything.

Re: The weekly Transitions thread.

LOL yeh do that HG, good idea.

Re: The weekly Transitions thread.

Can we also get a Bedrock Classics forum Trannu? Like we ask every year around Christmas time.

Millsy , you're a board titan and beyond mere platitudes. Your contribution speaks for itself.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh nooooooooooooooooo.

Missing the point dearest Hannu. Its not about links and tracklistings, there's fucking zillions of them all over the shop. Its about discussing the tracks and the guest mixes. There's plenty of other sites just posting links and shit. This is general discussion tackle.

If stickying it then here is the place.

Like I said earlier. A complete disaster of a forum that needs fucking off.

All the traffic is on here. Its his flagship show. There's never been a proper discussion thread. Now is the time.

Start one on there then and stick with it - if it's popular it'll work eh?
