Re: Earprotection

Had mine for almost 10 years now. Make sure you get at least two different filters. At 33. I already have the hearing of a 60 year old. 25s are too much sometimes.

Wish I was old and a little sentimental.

Re: Earprotection

furry, do you have the -15 or -9dB? I'm planing to get one of those.

Re: Earprotection

i got the 15s for DJing and they are the flattest of them. 9 is not enough IMO. While it takes a while to get used to it is definitely worth it.

The first 15 minutes everything will sound muddy but after that you get used to it for the rest of the night.

Re: Earprotection

thanks! thought about getting the -15 anyway. -25 seems too much.

Re: Earprotection

Well if you are just listening maybe the 9s are gonna do the job. But when DJing it's a lot louder because of the monitors and headphones etc.

Good thing is that you can swap the filters pretty easily.

Re: Earprotection

I use -15 whenever I go out. Flat attenuation. No ringing ears.

Never had the 9. Just the 25 and 15s. Having both gives me the range I need for concerts and clubs. I get the most use out of the 15s though.
