Yeah - must plan another lost weekend in Glasgow soon. Can we go to that Chinese again?

Re: Colours Boxing Day

Aren't you supposed to be at a conference bird?

How's Paris?

Another lost weekend in Glasgow would be wicked... big_smile

Re: Colours Boxing Day

I AM at a conference but we have the afternoon "off" and what better way to spend it than familiarising myself with the new look Bedrock board and catching up with my favourite boys??
Am meeting a mate at 5 for some wines but apart from that.....
Confernce is OK actually.

Re: Colours Boxing Day

Boxing day colours is quality... always has been. However if the rumours are to be believed... tiesto and Paul van Dyk are being lined up as residents (or at least regulars)... and I can guarantee this will drive the majority of the regulars (me included) away... and replace them with a bunch of pill munching, youthful muppets.

If you are just looking to organise another trip up to the Arches... the last friday of the month... usually a couple of days after boxing day... is Pressure... and this is normally a far better night than Colours.

Re: Colours Boxing Day

Chewey

saw your post about this on the Colours board. Would hate to believe that it's true however, how often do the current Colours residents Lawler and Pappa play?   :laugh I for one wont pay to hear Dick Van Dyke or Tiesticles. Sadly though, the many ned trance followers in our fair city will  sad

See you at Pressure for Derrick Carter?

Re: Colours Boxing Day

Ooooooh Baby.

Can't wait... well up for it. Tim Deluxe and the Master Derrick Carter. If I was a woman i'd be moist tongue

As for the dick van dyke and marry poppins crew... caught it off someone who does a lot of parties in the Glasgow area.... and Pappa lol don't make me laugh... he played back to back Colours then was never seen again. Nope.... i see colours going more commercial the ITV in the next 6 months, shame, but with the Tunnel going the way of Inside Out and Freefall, I think Ricky and Colours will be hard pushed to keep "Audience" figures up in competition against them.

Re: Colours Boxing Day

the progressive demise in Glasgow is hard to stomach but indicative of Scotland's tastes as a whole sad Been good to see the recent tend back towards the underground with word of mouth parties playing to small, familiar followings eg blackfriars, soundhaus and melting pot.

If you want Progressive... check out the Vault under Yang.

I think Derek Taylor (23rd's prog champion) is starting up a new night. Sure Chris Lake is playing the opening night, can't remember the date but sure it's the last weekend this month.

Alright for a team with no midfield anyway...
