Topic: Taking Pioneer CdJs to Spain

Anyone done this before? Trying to arrange hire in Barcelona but the hire shops won't hire without Spanish ID so looking like I'm going to have to drive my own down, nightmare. If anyone has done it, do they work ok on simply a converter plug?

Thanks in advance

Re: Taking Pioneer CdJs to Spain

standard euro travel adapters should do the trick

Re: Taking Pioneer CdJs to Spain

I took my Mrs to Spain once. Total nightmare. Hope that helps.

Part of the problem

Cheers, hoped it would be the case but thought I might as well ask.

Re: Taking Pioneer CdJs to Spain

Do like Spain I have to say.

Re: Taking Pioneer CdJs to Spain

Why don't you have a look if any English nights/acts play at Sonar or other events and e-mail them and ask them what they do. Failing that prerecord your set onto your laptop and pretend that you are using Ableton.

Jack is back baby.....

Re: Taking Pioneer CdJs to Spain

Tried that, cheers, most of them have fairly established contacts out there or use the help of Spanish promoters.

Re: Taking Pioneer CdJs to Spain

No need to worry about converters Mitchy. Just take the plug off, blue wire in the left hole, brown in the right. Worked a treat when I instructed my missus to do this with her hair straighteners.

Keep it FLAC. Say NO to variable bit rates.
