No, what I meant was I don't remember any of Sasha's set

I'm willing to bet it went something like this: 'whump whump whump whump whump whump whump whump...'

11.) Taragana Pyjarama - Ballibat (Lauer Mix)

Epic wee track that, this was definetly vintage sasha nice and moody plenty of emotion in the set.

Re: Sasha Involv3r Party - Warehouse Leeds: Last night.

Not having a pop at you fella but 25 minutes in and I'm bored shitless. Plodding, miserable, morose, dead sounding music which probably only makes sense after a large bowl of Ket. Where's the fucking energy? I might kill myself soon, so pray for me.

Fast forwarded to this - very good indeed, and saved me from slashing my wrists in despondent mental agony. 15 years ago he would have played this first or second tune and built from there. Sad really.

It's not as good as when Flaresy made  the plodding prog.

Re: Sasha Involv3r Party - Warehouse Leeds: Last night.

I always thought it was Randall Jones who killed prog.

Turned out it was Flaresy.

Agreed. I noticed a significant improvement in the overall quality of the scene when I stopped making records.

Re: Sasha Involv3r Party - Warehouse Leeds: Last night.

Listened to this last night, thought it was alright. Did help me pass a few hours, tune that done it for me was Dominik Eulberg - Offenbach.

Apart from that it was alright.

I'd like to hear Sasha play that a bit more often, maybe even make it a staple of his sets. There's so much energy and emotion in that tune, it really pounds along and lifts everything into another dimension.

Yeah, definitely agree with you there. I only recently heard it on his Radio 6 mix and it was by far the stand out tune.
