Has anyone finished this movie? I didnt.

I once sat through an entire episode of Fair City so this would be a piece of piss.

Howya doll.

Surely this is the point at which the entire US film industry needs to stop and have a word with themselves?

Even Zackster wouldn't chart this bollix.

Re: **The Bedrock "Rate The Last Movie You Watched" Thread**

Nice get up.

I would unleash a large amount of Turkey soup on the bint mind.

Part of the problem

Is that one of the private security guards from the Boston Marathon?

Re: **The Bedrock "Rate The Last Movie You Watched" Thread**

Isnt that a picture from the new Teenage mutant ninja turtles reboot, are they really that short of ideas (though no doubt Hannu will watch it as it has Megan Fox in it)

Re: **The Bedrock "Rate The Last Movie You Watched" Thread**

Never was a fan of TTMNT. And Megan (that's what I call her) ruined herself a long time ago.

Re: **The Bedrock "Rate The Last Movie You Watched" Thread**

Hangover III.

Disappointing, to put it mildly. 5/10.

The best thing about it was the latest Superman trailer. Actually looks like it might be rather good.

Re: **The Bedrock "Rate The Last Movie You Watched" Thread**

Why go and see Hangover III?  Superman will be a load of old shite an all.

Just watched The French Connection for the first time in ages. Now that's a great film.

Re: **The Bedrock "Rate The Last Movie You Watched" Thread**

Silver Linings Playbook.

Loved it. 10/10

Re: **The Bedrock "Rate The Last Movie You Watched" Thread**

Headhunters (9/10) ..... not to be confused with anything involving overhyped footy firms. Scando flic adapted from a novel by Jo Nesbø, the Norwegian crime writer apparently. Yanks have acquired the rights to fuck it all up in a remake unless Fincher is involved.

Some mini Lucas Leiva lookalike married to a hot piece of Amazonian blonde MILF several inches taller has an art nabbing job on the side to fund his lifestyle, but gets in the shit when one of his victims ends up being an ex special forces operator that goes Di Nino on him.

Tight script, set in Oslo, v well acted and lots of twists and turns etc.

Silver Linings Playbook--8/10
I don't normally rate Bradly Cooper but I thought some of his exchanges with Jennifer Lawrence in this film were great.
Enjoyable.

Moonrise Kingdom--8/10
Wes Anderson is somewhat consistent when it comes to films I like. Visually entertaining for sure. This was fun to watch.

Gangster Squad--5/10
I like a good gangster flick but hell this was fucking dull. Decent cast, but it just didn't do much for me. Lacked character build up.

The Imposter--10/10
What more can I say... check it out.

The Perks of Being A Wallflower--9/10
This movie surprised me. If you look past the age of the characters. You can see some wonderful acting going on. Emma Watson is not such a shabby actress. Great dramatic ending.

"the art of fighting, without fighting" classic film, remember watching that film about 30 times when I was a kid

Re: **The Bedrock "Rate The Last Movie You Watched" Thread**

Its even better now. Bruce bustin heads like a surgeon. Fantastic scenes.

Way of the dragon was good too, especially the fight with Chuck Norris

Re: **The Bedrock "Rate The Last Movie You Watched" Thread**

Raiders of the Lost Ark. Last time I saw it I watched it on a VCR-player, so that tells something. First time I also noticed the famous fly, and only because I kept expecting it. big_smile

Re: **The Bedrock "Rate The Last Movie You Watched" Thread**

Django - bought the blu-ray - was a little disappointed tbh - started really well but when they go to Candieland the shoot out was not as epic as i was expecting/hoping...

the main players all gave good performances mind - but the dialogue was not as snappy as previous

of his recent efforts i preferred Inglorious Basterds to this

Yeah that whole ranch section dragged a bit but its still a great film

Apparently that was DiCaprio's own blood in the dinner table scene, he really broke his arm and kept going.

Flight

The Denz is always watchable plus Catalina from My Name Is Earl makes an appearance as a stewardess taking it to 8.5/10

Hangover 3.  A lot less funny, way too much 'serious' and just a bland movie considering the cast.  I didn't expect a great deal, but this was probably one movie too many.  6/10.

I blame my missus for picking it out.
