Re: james holden . : The Inheritors

Its not so much the fact that he comes across as a bit of a  wet cunt.

Infact yes it is, he's a wet cunt.  And what i've heard from this album is pony.

Re: james holden . : The Inheritors

not even going to bother listening to it.

Re: james holden . : The Inheritors

I'd rather listen to a toilet flushing

Is that because you enjoy listening to the sound of running water Matt?

or is it that you're not keen on the album?

Bit of both Mono

Re: james holden . : The Inheritors

I have a bit of a fetish for running water tbf.
Sometimes I like to tie each foot to the bath taps and let it run down the back of my legs meeting at my crack.

Glorious.

Re: james holden . : The Inheritors

Wow, I'll have to try that.

Wish I was old and a little sentimental.

Re: james holden . : The Inheritors

can't say i'm overly interested in this. i thought i liked the single he put out a little while back, but in retrospect i think that was only because you all didn't like it.

Re: james holden . : The Inheritors

Ha ha I had a feeling that has been your agenda.

Holden makes nothing but noise. Sometimes it just happens to be in key. If you don't believe me ask loopy, he grew up with him in Leicerchestershire in London where they graduated together at Harvard.

Part of the problem

Re: james holden . : The Inheritors

His RA podcast was the worst thing I've heard in a long while.

Really? I thought the RA podcast was pretty good. I also recently had a re-listen to his DJ Kicks while making dinner the other night, it's a bloody good album.

Not very excited about The Inheritors though, first two singles are pants. I will give the album a listen though.

Re: james holden . : The Inheritors

As soon as Holden ditched playing prog house, he was dead to me.

Pricer struck off my 'people recommend their music list'.

Seriously, give his DJ Kicks another listen, it's thought provoking.

I only listen to his DJ Kicks when I'm wearing my black turtle neck. I stare out the window nonchalantly, take a puff of a Gitanes and sip my espresso.

Good lad.

Re: james holden . : The Inheritors

Did Holden even have a prog period, thought he went straigh from trance to his balance 5 stuff.

He flirted with it briefly in the early 2000's

I thought Leicerchestershire was in Scotland.  Everyone knows London is in Suffolk.  Sheesh.
