Anything can be forgiven when you're a member of the '77 cup winning team, as I said to Jimmy Greenhoff on my last soirée to OT.

How does their economy compare with the southern occupied neighbour?

In terms of unemployment NI is in line with the rest of the uk and our economy is showing signs of growth the worst of the reccesion is gone, ROI on the other hand has double the unemployement rate at 14% and was recently bankrupt.

Tourism is one off our biggest sectors in our economy and in terms of population we are kicking well above our weight compared to the rest of the uk.

England's major cities have there problems and in many ways london, birmingham and liverpool are way more dangerous places to live, street crime isnt really a problem here.

Aye, cos the lads might stick one in your kneecap if you're up to more crime than they are.

Re: 12th July in Northern Ireland

The ROI (Eire) sounds anything BUT a good craic.
