Re: **The Bedrock "Rate The Last Movie You Watched" Thread**

Its time to offer up the ghost when you're arguing the creative merits of Simon fucking Pegg.

One of the worst individuals ever to stand in front of a camera.

Competence is such an exotic bird in these woods that I appreciate it whenever I see it.

Our best export is Simon Fucking Pegg. How the fucking hell did that honestly happen? Its the same as Lee Evans.
Another horridly unfunny cunt for people with a low IQ.

All the classic American super heroes are now played by British actors. Christian Bale as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman and whatshisnamefromsocialnetwork is Spiderman. I'd say those guys are all bigger then Pegg in America.

Re: **The Bedrock "Rate The Last Movie You Watched" Thread**

Andrew Garfield was born in LA.

Re: **The Bedrock "Rate The Last Movie You Watched" Thread**

I'd say the best known English celebrities in the US are people like Simon Cowell, JK Rowling, Mick Jagger, Paul McCartney, David Beckham...

Even Zackster wouldn't chart this bollix.

Re: **The Bedrock "Rate The Last Movie You Watched" Thread**

Yeah, most likely. I was talking about actors. I daren't put words in Dermo's mouth.

The reluctant fundamentalist.

9/10 not bad at all, but Kate Hudson needs to fuck off and stop being fat, ugly and untalented in films I pay to watch.

Saw Swingers for for the first time yesterday.

Would have enjoyed it more when I was 18 I imagine.

Re: **The Bedrock "Rate The Last Movie You Watched" Thread**

Good Vibrations 9/10 Great acting and realism.

I hope you had a grown up with you.

Down Terrace - 7/10

Decent enough & based in Brighton so enjoyed reference to local beauty spots such as Whitehawk

Good acting, gritty etc but didn't quite 'do it' for me

Guess who's back .......... 'Odgy's back

Re: **The Bedrock "Rate The Last Movie You Watched" Thread**

Watched Only God Forgives a few nights ago and A Field in England last night, with Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? sandwiched in between. All pretty bonkers in their own right. Gosling plays a statue with aplomb; Ben Wheatley is a batshit director. Burton and Taylor need no platitudes from me.

Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.

Must be the most quotable movie I've seen in a long time. Val Kilmer's last good part and the rebirth of Robert Downey JR.

Re: **The Bedrock "Rate The Last Movie You Watched" Thread**

Not a cinema release in the US (HBO production), so is 'out there'...

(Homophobes like Flares should probably avoid)

Watch it numbnuts, I've got eyes and ears everywhere. Great movie btw. Douglas always delivers.

Check out Beware of Mr Baker - great bio of a grumpy, terminally disagreeable old fart, a bit like watching Dermo's lifestory if he was a genius on the drums. Speaking of Dermo, get your arse on Movie4k or 1Channel already and stop mithering about the lack of films on TV/DVD - the interwebs is where it's at for all that's new and approved.

Why am I in the above quote?.... hmm

Re: **The Bedrock "Rate The Last Movie You Watched" Thread**

Watched .'Behind the Candelabra'. Fucking great film all three of them surpassed themselves acting wise (Douglas, Damon, Lowe)
Pisser of a film, really well made. Could well be an Oscar nomination for Douglas in that.
