Casting Ed aside like a spent rag doll. He's going to be crushed (big nose, not Ed)

Maybe he's considering having a hareem? Ed, big nose and Borat all in one safe haven.

yeh, and ?

so... between 2003 and 2006 (pre world cup) he was a bit of a 1 trick pony...

Re: The General Footy Thread

What was his one trick, scoring?

Part of the problem

as per the gif - step overs and falling over

2003-2004 = 4 league goals
2004-2005 = 5 league goals
2005-2006 = 9 league goals

Re: The General Footy Thread

Diving was one of his tricks that Stevie Me and Suarez perfected.

Yawn.

Big fans of both BF and SimonR.

Never met Big Fella but can vouch for SimonR, top lad.

Is there a relevancy to this post Ed? Like what it was a response to? Just interested.

Not sure if there is a relevancy!

Know Simonr gets a bit of stick but I've met him a few times and he's always been really sound.

He was always going to be great, you fucking eejit. Superb footballer from the first time he got on the pitch. All his hard work made him what he is now.

Oh and Ferguson always knew this.

Re: The General Footy Thread

Really adventurous line up by Roy, can't wait, should be a cracking game (there maybe some sarcasm in this post)

If born in a different era, I can imagine Blatter orchestrating The Final Solution and shrugging his shoulders when finally hunted down by Simon Wiesenthal in Buenos Aires. He just seems the type of bloke.

Re: The General Footy Thread

Fucking dreadful.

If the tactics last night were to pass to no one and give the ball away as soon as you get it, then we were brilliant.

Can't recall seeing such a poor England side and performance for a very long time.  The only player to offer anything was Gerrard.
