Re: **The Bedrock "Rate The Last Movie You Watched" Thread**

I like to think I have enough intellectual capacity to watch films like this, but even having read the book the film still managed to confuse the fuck out of me. Found it really hard going and complicated for complicated sake.

Part of the problem

Yea me too. Tedious drivel.

Competence is such an exotic bird in these woods that I appreciate it whenever I see it.

Re: **The Bedrock "Rate The Last Movie You Watched" Thread**

Wow. I had no trouble following it the first time I watched it and I was drinking at the time.

Re: **The Bedrock "Rate The Last Movie You Watched" Thread**

It's a great film - I didn't totally get it the first time round, but watched it again and really enjoyed and understood it.

Re: **The Bedrock "Rate The Last Movie You Watched" Thread**

Will give it another watch tonight, but I'm going to be blazed out my mind.

you'd probably be better off with a Cheech and Chong movie then Rhouses

Mark Strong is the best character in TTSS

wouldn't mind another outing of Oldman as Smiley with the same screenwriters and director - good movie adaptation imo

Re: **The Bedrock "Rate The Last Movie You Watched" Thread**

Watched iceman last night Millsy. Proper good film.
Did you notice David Shcwimmer playing a young Dave Seaman (goalie) though lol. Was the spit.

Re: **The Bedrock "Rate The Last Movie You Watched" Thread**

Watched Hanna last night WITH MY GIRLFRIEND. It's pretty good once you take it as it is, a Grimm Brothers' fairytale set in modern times. They really hammer that point through, surprised I didn't notice it when I first watched two years ago. Joe Wright can also do a mean tracking shot. This is all one take.

Did you really need to emphasize that point Hannu?

Re: **The Bedrock "Rate The Last Movie You Watched" Thread**

Joe Wright can fuck off: Anna Kerrinina, that one about the lie with Kiera Knightly ('A..' something) - the Mrs loves that kind of bollix but not me - and guess who has to watch it anyway...

i did like Hannah mind

watched it on train commute to and from work yesterday - any longer than hour and a half and the film would've felt too long

Russel Crowe's turn as 'Jack the knife' was enjoyable

and good to see Dave Bautista as 'brass body'

Re: **The Bedrock "Rate The Last Movie You Watched" Thread**

watching Killing Them Softly today - Brad Pitt is good in it - as is James Gandolfini

Rush is a really good film. A bit cheesey but still a good film. Get a D-Box seat for a 'laugh'.

The actor who played Lauda was the hero Nazi sniper in Inglourious Basterds and in a few other films so, yes, noted as 'one to watch for the future'.

The Conjuring is worth a no-brainer/poop your pants hour or so.

Did you have to have the end of Oceans 11 explained to you?
