Usual high quality effects in the scenes he's actually in the suit. Like I said, the swerve just killed me a little inside, but had to air on the side of "there's a load of people who will have no idea what theyve just done" so rolls the bastardisation wagon over such MAJOR details like they don't matter. It was pretty funny in execution however.

The trailers were very clever though. Think I still rate the first one as my favourite. This one just seemed to dry up of ideas to get across as a movie.

Oh yeah, edit your quote from before wink My bad I know.

Andy, have you taken any drugs today?

I'm no Barry Norman, i'll admit that.

The Blind Side

7/10.

Offensive linemen are talentless cunts Yant, everyone knows that.

I've seen a few films as I've been traveling a fair bit:

World War Z. 3/10 - Fucking shit - Brad Pitt should hang his head in shame, the greedy little cunt.

The Master. 9/10 - a brilliant film that I never noticed being released. Joaquin Phoenix and Philip Seymour Hoffman are absolutely outstanding.

My Brother The Devil. Can't score it it, I'm not sure how credible or realistic it is, it's not shit mind. British film about east end drugs, violence and homophobia.

Take Shelter. 7/10 - slow, irritating start, but gets better as it nears the end. It's got the dodgy cop out of Boardwalk Empire in it.

The Place Beyond the Pines 6/10 - expected a bit more to be honest, it got great reviews. It was okay. The last hour could've been taken out and it could just have been a US pilot for TV.

To watch:

A Highjacking
The Deep
Annie Hall
Zero Dark Thirty
Made of Stone
Alan Partridge: Alpha Pappa

Finally watched Iron Man 3 last night.

As a bit of a Marvel fan I had to stomach the bastardisation of the Extremis plot-line.

The swerve though - not over that

Do you have to be 18 to register on here?

Re: **The Bedrock "Rate The Last Movie You Watched" Thread**

Regular Victor Mature this morning, eh Grant.

Re: **The Bedrock "Rate The Last Movie You Watched" Thread**

It's almost 5 in the afternoon here and I'm a bit pissed. Marvel fan though?

ROFL on all kinds of fronts.

Re: **The Bedrock "Rate The Last Movie You Watched" Thread**

Saw Captain Phillips and Enough Said yesterday.

Both great.

A long time ago, I can barely remember it. I know I liked it, so I can use it to follow up something shit on the plane.

+1

Watched it after immense recommendations from a mate ('... one of the best films I've ever seen...') and thought it was merely ok.  Soundtrack is probably the best thing about it.

Thank you, someone who talks some sense

Thor : The Dark World - Caught this this morning - decent - on a par with the first one - it's not gonna tax your brain or anything, it's a bit patchy in places and the comedy is a bit hit or miss (mostly hit though - was surprised at how funny it was for an action film) but I really enjoyed it.

Awful control   Broken physics   Horrific AI   Weak voice work   Poor textures.

And that's just Wally on the pull.

Not at all - there's nowt wrong with enjoying superhero / action flicks. Bit of harmless escapism.

Re: **The Bedrock "Rate The Last Movie You Watched" Thread**

They don't take kindly to that kind of attitude around here Wally. That said, was going to avoid it, but of all people, fucking Phonogenic spoke likewise about it in Facebook a few minutes ago, and he's a total comic nerd. Like me.

Re: **The Bedrock "Rate The Last Movie You Watched" Thread**

They don't like much of anything on here Hannu - I just chose the "Don't give a fuck" route - does the job nicely.

How can a self professed comic book nerd even consider giving it a miss? It's definitely worth going to see.
