do you get to the bridge often? it's one of the only things that makes me homesick. we get just about every chelsea game on TV over here which kind of makes up for it and there are a couple of decent bars that people head to for live games but none of it makes up for going to the bridge.

very jealous - I never got a season ticket but spent a few years grabbing tickets from my mates who had them when they couldn't make it. used to head up for about 10 games a year give or take. first trip was against arsenal in 79 - when we got relegated.

so what's your opinion on them this year then?

Re: The General Footy Thread

Work in progress with a few issues still.

One of them being Jon Mikel Obi, needs to be shown the door.

And we're in desperate need of a striker.

Hazard is starting to kick on, tends to play better when Mata's in the side.

We'll finish second or third in the league and hopefully pick up a trophy.

Great to have another know fucking nothing Chelsea cunt in the thread. A matching pair now. 10 years of long service between them. Pre Roman cluelessness abound. Wikipedia is your friend lads.

I don't like to bandwagon it.

Maybe i'm being harsh on you. Were you one of the 'Lampard must go' crew a couple of seasons ago?

absolutely - his goals are all deflections so they don't count. brings fvck all to the team. fat. slow. old. can't pick a pass etc

should have sold him to Inter when they had the chance.

Re: The General Footy Thread

Haha perfect. Jamie meet Smallman. You'll be bouncing off each other for years to come. Uless of course you go down and you both stop supporting them, obviously.

Re: The General Footy Thread

16th consecutive year as a season ticket holder Derm.

Feels great.

Re: The General Footy Thread

Dermo sounding too much like Phil Opian.

Matters not BF.

They're both easily dispatched.

Re: The General Footy Thread

I do worry for Dermo's sanity when he's doing the old log-in log-out banter riffing with Phil Opian.

Re: The General Footy Thread

Arsenal coming down the other side of the hill of late. Cracks showing.

Szeczneyzcyey has the most punchable bulb since Robbie Savage.

Re: The General Footy Thread

arsenal looking at a fairly tough draw in the next round. should make for a good game whoever they get.

that result was pretty decent for Man Utd and Chelsea - dortmund and napoli both avoided.

when's the draw?

It doesn't exactly need an alias to point out what massive success supporting, know nothing, whoppers some are.

I'd take all Phil's awards. Would give me at least twice as many as I've already got.

Re: The General Footy Thread

Napoli could have and should have knocked Arsenal out, they stopped playing for about 10 mins as they thought Dortmund would draw
