hah, quality.

Benga's 26 Basslines has (so far) been the only track to physically make me sick.

As far as I can tell, the DVD is a Diggers webshop exclusive, so you need to order from there if you want it.

Re: John Digweed Live in Argentina 4x CD and DVD Out Now

I'm really looking forward to this release....it must be quite a set if he's willing to release another set from Argentina so early in the series. cool

He played it around 4-5am iirc – was the first time I could actually make it down to the dancefloor was so busy

When I play......no dog barks!!!!

Re: John Digweed Live in Argentina 4x CD and DVD Out Now

Yeah, that's right. Funnily enough I was literally only walking onto the dancefloor for the first time myself, only to have to make a hasty retreat - lol.

Re: John Digweed Live in Argentina 4x CD and DVD Out Now

Was that the night at Code you are talking about? Top night if it was.

Keep it FLAC. Say NO to variable bit rates.

It was when they played Fabric, xmas weekend 2001

Re: John Digweed Live in Argentina 4x CD and DVD Out Now

I think that the Code night must have been the night or two before; was on a Thursday IIRC. "To Get Down" was played by Diggers near the end after a barrage of techno tracks. Probably the last time that I saw them together where Sasha was actually any good/bothered to put any effort in/turned up (delete as applicable).

If Chunky was still around, he could confirm the actual dates of the events using the massive collection of flyers that he has unhealthily collected over the years.

Keep it FLAC. Say NO to variable bit rates.

Re: John Digweed Live in Argentina 4x CD and DVD Out Now

I went to that s&d night, lawler on the warm up.

Re: John Digweed Live in Argentina 4x CD and DVD Out Now

Lawler was excellent that night. DJ'd his entire set standing on a beer crate as well.

I remember consoling a cyber kid who was nearly crying because all the prog heads were laughing at him.

Re: John Digweed Live in Argentina 4x CD and DVD Out Now

Haha

Re: John Digweed Live in Argentina 4x CD and DVD Out Now

Lawler, Sasha and Digweed on a Thursday night. For a fiver no doubt?

Those were the days..

Re: John Digweed Live in Argentina 4x CD and DVD Out Now

Have just found out my Godson is getting me Digweed Live in Argentina for Christmas.

Yes!

Re: John Digweed Live in Argentina 4x CD and DVD Out Now

sounds really proggy in comparison to previous efforts - count me in.

:-)

Awful control   Broken physics   Horrific AI   Weak voice work   Poor textures.

And that's just Wally on the pull.

Just listening to the iTunes samplers.

Some absolute belters on here.

Re: John Digweed Live in Argentina 4x CD and DVD Out Now

I've been listening to all 4 discs today and loving them all. Quality music once again from Don John.

I'm not sure what people don't like about Disc 1. Proper warm up tunage. It's getting me in the mood for Fabric tonight smile
