DiCaprio just oozes wealth, success and sexual magnetism. Bet he can't mix two tunes together though, which means he wouldn't be welcome on this board I can tell you.

I'm privileged in that regard ECT, since I live a short walk to Beachy Head I've been up there many times with a nice phatty and walked the same route as Daniels' rode that scooter, with The Who playing on the headphones. Authentic as fuck.

nIce.

IF i lived that close ,im sure, given my nature, i would do that homage as well.

The old man was a mod, seen the pictures, and heard the stories from him and his mates.

they were 'modernists' not mods.

they reckon the scene was dead by '64/'65 . then they all got into people like dylan .
he reckons it was like the acid house scene ,when the acid teds came along in my era and fucking ruined everything.

anyone after 65/66 who claimed to be a 'mod' were similar to people who buy ministry of sound comps 'fucking trance anthems"and love oakenfold starry eyed suprise

he got arrested in '65 for selling purple hearts to dave dee dozy beaky mick and titch!("a bunch of cunts")
so he went on the run and lived in a cave down cornwall way for 6 months until he got flooded out.

Got 'lincoln' lined up for tonight..

celebrity big brother  featuring the lee ryan-casey-jasmine love triangle and the 13th amendment emancipation proclamation should prove to be most  amusing, if not unenlightening, bedfellows.

R.I.P.D and Red 2 - both watchable and also nothing amazing 6/10

Re: **The Bedrock "Rate The Last Movie You Watched" Thread**

Wouldn't you do that and watch The Hangover?

Looking forward to seeing this... Proper British effort.
The lead geezer (unpronounceable / un-typable name) was in Greenwich Mean Time in the late 90's ... Quite a shit film if truth be told but I liked it and he was fucking ace

You'll love it Hodge. Hard going in places, proper brutal. But Steve McQueen has said he wanted to make a film that effectively woke America up from its collective amnesia and I think he's succeeded. It is as good as film making gets imo.

Michael Fassbender and Chiwetel Ejiofor are fantastic actors. I hope they, and McQueen, sweep the boards with this one, although I also thing Prisoners is just as good and needs equal recognition come awards season.

The more I read about this McQueen bloke the more I like him... About time someone started to  make some proper film films... Gritty stuff like this 12 years jobby.... I'm getting fucking tired of batman and robin versus superman and the avengers captain Thor Spider-Man 16.

You seen 12 Years... yet Hodge?

Watched it last week - no doubt there's some powerful moments in it but I found it surprisingly and strangely cold.  Was expecting it to be much more difficult to watch and to feel much more sympathetic towards the lead role.  Hey-ho.

7/10 for me.

I'm going to give this a try tonight, mainly to letch at the ravishing sexual majesty that is Lupita Nyong'o.
