Re: Decent hot (HOT) chilli sauces...

I'm definitely limp when it comes to hot food. Gives me hiccups.

edit: Roatan would be very safe as its mostly resort based, Utila is certainly wilder and not at all "safe". Nowhere is safe when crack and guns are in close proximity wink

http://sunjamutila.com/ is the thing I'm talking about and seems not to be the same thing of which you speak?

Yeah, Sunjam. I still have my staff t-shirt....I can't really explain in words how bad the music was, which is a shame because one of the lads who dj'd at it was pretty decent, Louis Maier. I was supposed to play at our bar with himself and one of his friends but I got asked to work because we got so busy. I also got roped into the cleanup of the cay but got rewarded for my work with some top class bugle, which was nice smile

Apparently Utila has a pretty cool electronic music festival in May on a private cay.  The guy who runs it lives there and grew up in (where else) Toronto, but is Honduran.

the Bay Islands are relatively safe from what I've been told

liquitech1 wrote:

It's not a festival at all, more an old fashioned rave...Its 24 hrs of nose bleed techno and psy-trance on a small cay.....thats the only 'cool' thing about it, the cay its on... the opening dj at 2pm who blasted out 130bpm techno to about 4 people...

Utila is certainly wilder and not at all "safe". Nowhere is safe when crack and guns are in close proximity wink

Louis Maier.

My understanding was Louis was the guy who was running it now.  He's the guy I was speaking of.  By no means was I suggesting you weren't correct. [shrug]  You lived there after all. smile

That is the single funniest fucking thing I've seen in a good while.

Love the 'ta-dah' in there

Re: Decent hot (HOT) chilli sauces...

Finally bought some Sriracha. Awesome stuff. And I normally hate hot sauces.

Boss part of the world.

I may have served you a tasty beverage at Coco Locos, smallman!

Surely you would have remembered such a momentous occasion?

A squirt of this stuff in a burger comes highly recommended.
