Re: Your all time favorite mix compilation

Nothing is a horrific tune.

His balance is a work of art. Second only to NE1 imho

From a sliding glass door, through white curtains fluttering in the breeze, comes Bruno, Guetta's elegant manservant. The two exchange a few words in French, and Bruno re-emerges a few minutes later with salads.

Re: Your all time favorite mix compilation

always fucking hated holden. thought his early music lacked any soul and always avoided him (apart from the sky is pink obvs)

guess I had better check his balance out if millsy rates it that high.

A Break in the Clouds is probably my favourite Holden production. Immense.

just had a listen - suppose it sounds ok.

I know he was touted as a studio genius and I seem to remember thinking his stuff sounded 'over produced' at the time - he was making sounds because he could, not because they sounded good. Seem to remember a few Charlie May records from around the same era sounding the same to me - a bit too much going on in them etc.

Re: Your all time favorite mix compilation

I think that's a fair comment - thought that about a lot of his stuff myself as it goes.
